These are common faults on the older Mazda Bongo/Ford Freda's.
Do any the above work strangely when the door is open, yet no joy when closed or even the opposite way around? Sounds like you may have broken wires in the door loom!
Well don't despair, here is a cheap answer that will give you many years of worry free operation.
It is no good repairing one broken wire, the clue is there.One hardened wire has snapped, the others will soon follow.
This cable section can be fitted into the old door loom replacing broken, split, potential breaking wires in the drivers door loom.
No need to remove the door card or the loom from the door
It is colour for colour and comes complete with heat-shrink butt connectors for easy installation.
The hardest part is removing the door flange seals.
These must be removed carefully so they can be re-used.
The descriptive process from start to finish is included with the kit.
